St. David's is a church that is committed to mission near and far.
We take the word ‘mission’ broadly to include both outreach initiatives and aid initiatives, both local and global.
At St. David’s we privilege outreach ventures since we believe the local church ought to support outreach both local and global. We also want to be responsible in how we support aid and social action initiaves as an expression of 'loving our neighbours'.
St. David’s is committed to giving 11% of its actual income to mission giving. 9% for global projects and mission support, and 2% for local non-St. David's Mission projects.
We have a Global mission group who help us to keep connected with our link mission families, raising up mission and mission interest at church.
